He spent six years learning his craft also spending time in the Isle of Weight tutored by well known glass artist Michael Harris. Terence also spent time in Lanagham Glass developing his skill. He opened Kerry Crafted Glass in 1998 with his wife Helen and three daughters Niamh, Ruth, and Meabh and we run the business as a family. The public are welcome to see the ancient craft of glass blowing. They welcome coach tours and school tours and provide private blowing lessons, occasionally they allow the public a chance to blow a bubble, children love this opportunity. Kerry Crafted Glass is situated in a beautiful idyllic part of Kerry surrounded by the Lakes of Killarney and the MacGillycuddy Reeks these surroundings are reflected in there glass creation, and colours.
